I would like rates for acupuncture sessions, on my left ulnar, I feel weakness in my left arm, perhaps associated w/continued computer use; however, I feel no pain, just weakness.

    • Pam D says:

      Hey Elena-

We are a community clinic and operate on a sliding scale of $30-$50 per treatment. The first visit will have an additional assessment/paper work fee of $15, making the sliding scale on the first visit a total of $45-$65. You choose the fee in that range so that you can afford to complete a treatment plan.

      Thank you for the inquiry.

      Pam

I just set up an appointment on-line. This is GREAT!

  3. Florence says:

    Hi,

I was wondering if you guys offered accupressures with beads to lose weight. I know some people refer it as the “bead diet”.

    Please let me know :D

    • Pam D says:

Yes, we can use “beads” or “seeds” on auricular (ear) points to assist you in losing weight. However, we have several other protocols that will help as well. I like to individualize the treatment for each person, but will typically combine NAET, homeopathy, auricular points, as well as traditional acupuncture for stress management.

    Hello,
My husband has m.s. and when compensating for weakness in one area he strains others. He also falls and has hurt other areas. Please help me convince him to try acupuncture.

I am in need of a stop smoking cessation program and am wondering if you know of a sliding scale clinic in hurst, i do not have a car and it could be hard for me to make sessions in a timely manner to fort worth, the train here isn’t in tandem with my school schedule and my life as a single parent, nor is it conveniently located. thank you for any information you can help with ,jaime

    • Pam D says:

      Hey Jaime–
I am sorry to report that I am not aware of another community clinic besides this one outside of Austin. I am happy to work with you on your quest to stop smoking. We have homeopathics, herbs and teas to help with your resolve to stop smoking as well as onsite acupuncture. You might get by with fewer trips to the clinic if you utilize the other supports.

Wishing you much success in changing your lifestyle and seeking health

I am curious to know if you do acupuncture for infertility?

    • awcc says:

Absolutely, we have treatment protocols for infertility. Can be very effective in restoring balance to the reproductive system so that it works more effectively.

  2. Javier says:

My father recently suffered a moderate case of Bell’s Palsy. Half of his face has become paralysed. He saught out early treatment with steroids at a local emergency room, but we are now looking into additional treatment options for the long run. Does accupuncture serve as a form of treatment for this condition?

    • awcc says:

Yes, we treat Bell’s Palsy. It may take several visits but acupuncture is most effective with frequency in restoring the immune system to fight the virus and nourish the nerves that are affected. Be sure to visit our online appointment system. Hope to see him soon.

  3. awcc says:

We have had great success treating insomnia with a combination of acupuncture and NAET for certain hormones that effect sleep. Many start seeing results with the first visit. Acupuncture works best with frequency, so visits closer together in the beginning will reap the best results. Of course, the sliding scale fee system is built so you can afford to come as often as you need to get better, and stay better.
