Community Clinic

Community Clinic Provides Affordable Healing for Everyone

Most acupuncturists in North America treat patients on tables in individual rooms.  This is not traditional in Asia, where acupuncture is practiced in a community setting.  At Acupuncture Wellness Community Clinic we use multiple recliner chairs arranged in a large, quiet, soothing space.

We treat patients in groups making it easy for friends and family members to come for treatments together.  This treatment approach allows patients to form a community centered on healing and wellness.

Our Sliding Scale

At Acupuncture Wellness Community Clinic we believe health and wellness care should be affordable for everyone.  Acupuncture is a safe and gentle form of medicine.  Some conditions require multiple treatments to achieve maximum results.  Our clinic wants you to be able to afford to return as often as is needed for you to get better and stay better.

Fees are $30 to $50 per treatment.  You decide what you can afford.  There is also a one-time assessment/paper work fee of $15 on your initial visit.

Make an appointment by using the online appointment system link on the home page

i live in arlington but eat at the spiral diner occasionally. got your info there. i am interested in a meditation class – for hypertension (controlled). should i go to the temple on Truman or can i go to your office? also, i have arthritis of the feet, specifically the toes. does acupuncture help with that area? i also saw on your list of problems that hypertension is listed. can accupunture help with hypertension? Rx controls it now but i would like to get off the medication if possible. can that happen with accupuncture?

      Hey Paul–

Yes, we have an outreach class at the clinic for meditation. You can go either to the Temple or come here or any number of outreach locations. Kelly Jean is our meditation teacher at the clinic.

Yes, meditation is great for hypertension, as is acupuncture/Oriental Medicine. Meditation is the highest form of healing followed by nutrition. Acupuncture and herbs are great, also, just a little lower on the list.

Through my work with acupuncture, nutrition, and herbs we have seen great improvement in hypertension issues. All of the methods are built on the premise of bringing the body into balance. Of course, more than one treatment is required for optimal, long-lasting results.

The same goes with arthritis. Also, we have a new reflexologist starting at the clinic this week. How about a therapeutic foot rub, too?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive a child with no success for almost two years. All tests and exams come back normal and no Dr. Can find a reason for our “unexplained infertility” this has been very emotionally and financially draining and we would love to know if this is something you treat. I have heard wonderful things about acupuncture for infertility. I hope that my husband and I can come in for a treatment.

Yes, acupuncture as well as NAET have been effective in helping couples achieve their dream of the joy of adding children to their family. I would be happy to talk with you about the process. Please give me a call at 817-877-1502.

do you also bill health insurance if we have coverage?

    • Pam D says:

We do not process insurance. We can give you a “superbill” with all the codes so that you can send in for reimbursement to you. However, we are a community clinic and operate on a sliding scale of $20-$40 a treatment with an additional first visit assessment/paperwork fee of $15. You chose the fee within the scale so that you can afford to complete a treatment plan. So, our fees are like paying your co-pay.
